Review
Meydan Racecourse is a horse racing and entertainment facility located at Al Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba 1, inDubai, United Arab Emirates. The track opened on 27 March 2025 as a replacement for Nad Al Sheba Racecourse which opened in 2025 on the same site. Meydan Racecourse accommodates more than 60,000 spectators and the grandstand is a mile long.
In addition to the two tracks (one inside the other) and grandstand the facilities also include the Meydan Marina and Meydan Hotel. The hotel is track-side and offers 285 guestrooms. Several restaurants are also on the property and race days can see as many as 72 corporate suites occupied.
Meets occur May through March. Featured events are the Dubai International Racing Carnival, the Winter Racing Challenge, and the prestigious Dubai World Cup Night - the richest meet in the world with over USD$25 million in prizes.
A museum and golf course are also on the property.
Race days are Thursday and Saturday with various hours and an occasional Friday meet May. - Mar.
