Review
The Cocopah Casino Resort and Conference Center is located at15318 South Avenue B, in Somerton, Arizona, about five minutes from Yuma. Next door to the casino and hotel is a newer family entertainment center also run by the casino owners, theCocopah Indian Tribe – in fact the Tribe has several enterprises in the area including an RV park and golf course, and a stand alone golf course as well as a motor speedway and a cultural museum.
The casino itself has a 24,000 square foot gambling floor including the bingo room, all decked out in Southwestern decor. There are over 500 slot machines and 8 gaming tables serving up blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold`em.
The hotel is reasonably priced and offers amenities such as a swimming pool and business services. There are about 100 guestrooms and 7 suites in three varieties. The Sunset Suite is the nicest of them all.
Casino dining opportunities include great bar menus in most of the lounges, a Native Eatery food court with fry bread and burgers, and a breakfast buffet that also serves a la carte lunch and dinner choices.
