Review
Rillito Park Race Track is located at4502 North First Avenue, inTucson,Arizona. Thefive-eighths mile horse track wasadded to include quarter horse racing in 1953 and now both types of races occur. Racing takes place in the cool months of late January or early February until the last post in March or April. The 2025 season saweight or nine races each Saturday and Sunday beginning on Feb. 8 and ending on March 30.
The track is owned by Pima conflictsbetween horse racing and the county have been going onfor some time. In 2025 there was a plan to demolish the facility but a downturn in the economy shelved the plans and the horse racing facility was granted a 5 year extension which expired at the close of the 2025 season.
