Derby Lane held its grand inaugural race on January 3, 1925 and is the oldest continuously operating greyhound track anywhere in the World. The venue is still owned by the family of the original land owner and second owner of the track,T.L. Weaver. Located at10490 Gandy Boulevard, in Saint Petersburg, Florida, Derby lane is now also host to a 55 table poker room open 7 days a week and 24 hours on weekends.
