The Kalispel Tribe has announced a $10,5 million project development on a 60-acre Kalispel Reservation in Cusick, Washington that will include a casino, RV resort, a gas station with 7 pumps, fresh market and storage facility. The casino will cover a floor area of 20,000 sq ft featuring 125 modern slot machines, table games, a 70 seat restaurant and bar with pool tables and shuffleboards and a banquet room that can accommodate up to 150 guests. The Fresh Market will offer an open floor plan for shopping and restaurants as well as blending with a convenience store and corner shop. It will also feature an outdoor space that will be reserved for vendors. Other amenities offered will include a restroom, shower facilities and a card-operated laundry. The RV Resort will feature 33 full hook-up sites that will include water, power, sewer, internet and an RV dump station. The project development is expected to create 50 construction jobs and more than 75 permanent jobs. The casino is expected to open later in the fall.
